Presented ongoing PhD research at Xovetic, the annual symposium for young researchers in ICT at Universidade da Coruña, across multiple editions.
The Xovetic presentations covered the progression of sports AI research developed at the UDC Applied AI research group — from early handball game situation classification to broader work on action spotting, automated highlight production, and cross-domain transfer learning.
These presentations provided an opportunity to present work-in-progress to the local research community and receive feedback from faculty and fellow PhD candidates before submitting to international venues.
