FOSDEM is the world’s largest gathering of free and open source software developers, held every year at the ULB campus in Brussels.
This was my first edition, attended shortly after joining GPUL’s board. It set the tone for what became an annual habit: taking in the density of talks and devrooms, and starting to see how a European-scale FOSS community operates beyond Galicia.
